Support for Women Facing Gender-Based Violence (GBV)
Story
Gender-based violence (GBV) is a major issue affecting women across Zimbabwe, with many experiencing physical, emotional, and sexual abuse in their homes, workplaces, and communities. The psychological scars of GBV often leave women feeling helpless and isolated, struggling to break free from a cycle of violence.
Our clinic is dedicated to providing vital support and resources for women who have experienced gender-based violence. Through counseling, therapy, and legal support, we offer a holistic approach to helping women heal, rebuild their lives, and break free from the cycle of violence.
In addition to providing individual support, we offer group therapy sessions and community outreach programs to raise awareness about GBV and educate women on their rights and available resources. We work tirelessly to ensure that every woman who walks through our doors knows she is not alone and deserves a life free from violence.

Update
In the last month, we’ve seen an increased number of women seeking help due to the heightened awareness of GBV issues in the community. Our clinic has successfully facilitated several group therapy sessions where women can connect, share their experiences, and heal together. Additionally, we’ve partnered with local organizations to provide emergency shelter for women in immediate danger.
We are currently expanding our legal support services to assist women in taking legal action against their abusers, ensuring they have access to justice and protection.
